About the Event
JOIN the Foothills Brass Quintet in concert Sunday April 10 2022, 2:00 pm, for an afternoon program to celebrate spring. We’ll include music by Handel, Vivaldi and the Beatles; Count Basie’s April In Paris; Tangos by Piazzolla and Gardel. Our guest artists will be five young musicians of Calgary Youth Ensemble, a new project this year! Five students from Calgary schools, coached by members of Foothills Brass and others in classical and jazz styles, will join us in tunes by J.S. Bach, Louis Prima and more. Serious Fun!
