Recognizing the importance of concert societies’ role in bringing outreach to their communities, Foothills Brass has several highly-acclaimed educational shows that have delighted audiences across North America, and keeps them constantly in demand.
In fact, over their 30-year history, Foothills Brass has presented an average of over 100 educational shows a year…meaning Foothills Brass has played for nearly a million students!

Explorations, our program for high school students, provides a in-depth look into the joys of making music and taps their everyday experiences, pulling them out of their Ipods and closer to live music than many have been before!
Foothills Brass has presented masterclasses all over North America for universities and high school instrumental music programs. Presentations have included Universities of Miami, Nebraska, Oregon, British Columbia, Alberta, Prince Edward Island, and Mount Allison University.
